- Record an IGSN with any sample taken.
- Record the parent IGSN with any subsample measured
- Record an PIDInst with any measurement. You should find it on the instrument.
- Record the ROR with any organization mentioned – look up in imprint of website
- Record the ORCID with any person mentioned – look up in ORCID directory
