====Use Case 1: GEOMAR ====

__Status__ 

ROR identifiers for organizations are already captured at GEOMAR, but not yet in a fully systematic way.
  * Capture is currently **manual**
  * ROR information is primarily referenced via the GEOMAR research data website
  * **Responsibility**:
      * Capturing and maintenance: Library
  * There are currently **no documented workflows or institutional guidelines** for ROR usage
  * A key challenge is the lack of integration into central systems. In particular, ROR information is not yet consistently integrated into:
      * Active Directory (AD)
      * OSIS applications
      * OceanRep

__Outlook__

We strive to work with the library and the outreach department to develop a workflow to maintain the GEOMAR ROR in the ROR registry and integrate it into the GEOMAR data systems.
